Three NMR spectrometers were installed in March 2003 in the NMR room on the ground floor of the CollaboStation II building. Two Bruker spectrometers, Avance700 and Avance600, and one Varian spectrometer, Inova600. The console of Inova600 has been replaced with the second Avance600. Unfortunately, Avance700 is now out of service. (Photo: the NMR room)
The NMR spectrometers are managed by our laboratory, including filling of liquid helium and liquid nitrogen into the magnets, maintenance of the spectrometers, and development of pulse programs, in collaboration with the Faculty of Phamaceutical Sciences.

high-performance cryogenic probes with improved signal/noise (S/N) ratios obtained by reducing the operating temperature of the coil and the pre-amplifier.
The dramatic increase in the S/N ratio by a factor of 3-4, as compared to conventional probes, leads to a possible reduction in experiment time of up to 16 or a reduction in required sample concentration by a factor of up to 4.
